As I mentioned in the opening post of this blog, I have been working slowly but steadily for some time now on a project that will probably take years to finish. That is the work of watching every movie ever nominated for Best Picture by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. I’ve made some progress, but there are hundreds of films that have been nominated, so I’m still a long way from completion. There are a few films I’ll probably skip (I don’t have any desire to see Linda Blair’s head spin like a top), and there are a few films I might never get to see due to the fact that they have been either lost or destroyed.
